Many of my client don't want the commitment of a sew in weave or track for that matter. They would rather have a less committed weave with the tracks glued in; I have a few clients who for various reasons request this type of service. In the picture my client Brandi has very healthy long beautiful hair but wanted to try out some color; so I gave her blonde tracks to give the illusion of highlights throughout the hair. Brandi was scheduled to come back in 2 week for her scheduled appointment and thought she would assist me by removing the tracks at home her self. Which is a great idea IF you know what your doing. The Post Mortem: Kelly deserves jail
Anybody else have Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger treat their fantasy team like you were a coed in a college bar? Good lord, that was terrible. But there was plenty of crap going on in the NFL. Let's hit the lowlights.
THE DALLAS Cowboys have officially finished their season. There was some thought that QB Jon Kitna was going to lead these team on a winning streak, only to have QB Tony Romo return to ruin the whole thing. Like he always did. But Romo will not even get that chance.
THE MINNESOTA Vikings have also called it a season. How would the year have been different if that plane from Mississippi with Brett Favre in it back before the season started had flown into a building instead of going to Minnesota? The Vikings could have been playoff contenders if Tarvaris Jackson had started the season at quarterback.
THE DETROIT Lions are going to make the playoffs. I would say that the Lions were the best team in the NFC North, but the Packers did look pretty good knocking off the Jets. Wow, the Packers defense better than the Jets? That was amazing.
THE SAN Diego Chargers are not completely back. But they are closer to getting back into the race. Well, only if the Chiefs and Raiders would stop winning.
BOISE STATE continues to fall in the polls, as expected. But really, does anybody think that the teams surrounding them will continue to win? Think about it, another week and two undefeated teams fell. And more will continue to fall. Just embrace the Broncos, fools.
AND FINALLY
There was something disturbing about Notre Dame this weekend. Although, Tulsa showed a lot of class by wearing green shamrocks on its helmets.
But Notre Dame put on a pretty glowing show. Coach Brian Kelly certainly looked like he was bothered during the moment of silence for that student who was killed because of his negligence. Although, it was not hard but to notice that he seemed more distraught about losing the game.
My question, why was Kelly even coaching? We talk about NFL players returning to the field after committing rape. After running dog fighting rings. After killing pedestrians. How was this any different?
If anything, what Kelly did was worse.
Kelly put a few wins over a student's safety. And to think, Notre Dame went out and lost the game. Let's be honest. Notre Dame might not be a good fit for the bowl subdivision level. A classic FCS team if there ever was one. And they went out and killed a guy?
Coach Kelly deserves to be in jail, at the very least. Having a job is a luxury he does not deserve.

My top 5 things to do to maintain a weave....
Another Post Throw Back...
So as many of u know as a hairstylist I try every hairstyle I produce just to see what the maintenance is like and how long the style can last if well taken care of. With that being said I've worn several types of weaves today I'm going to cover wearing a full head weave. The definition of a full head weave is that either all your hair is in or the there is more hair braided up than left out.....
1. Buy the best- nothing and I mean nothing kills a weave like a cheap bag of hair. I don't care how well I braid your hair or lay your tracks if the hair is cheap it will not maintain the hair style for a day let-a-lone 2 months
2. Maintenance appointments at least every 2 weeks- many of my clients, as well as, my coworkers clients attempt to was their weaves themselves which is fine if you have a dryer at home. Because, the hair is braided under the weave you run the chance of having smelly hair if its not washed and dried properly.
3. Wrap your hair- just because you have a weave do not.....wait DO NOT think that you can live fun and fancy free and sleep with out putting your hair up. Applying heat and styling the hair everyday puts wear and tear on the weave just as it would your own hair. Put those hot tools down ladies!!!!
4. Comb your Weave- hahahahaha okay I even have to laugh at this one. But, I have seen this more often than not, a client comes in and the weave is so tangles I'm afraid to touch it. The weft which is what the hair is attached to is held together by thread, so if I'm pulling and tugging on your weave you will lose large amounts of hair that can not be replaced and the hair will thin out before the weaves 2 month life spam is reached. Now we've all seen a "too thin" weave and no one wants that now do we.... comb that weave girl!
5. Last but so not least....take it down when its time- All you 6 month weave wearing ladies STOP IT!!! A weave is best maintained for only 2 months 3 is stretching it.
Which brings me to my next top 5......
When its time to take that weave out!!!!
