Whitney Houston said it best and is still paying the ultimate price of losing her career behind the use of narcotics"Crack is wack!". Those were the words uttered by Whitney in this candid interview with Diane Sawyer back in 2002.
But, as we brought Black history month to a close I couldn't help but notice the difference between the way Non-Black celebs are treated after being caught red handed on dope. Charlie Sheen is the latest to be strung out on drugs proving Rick James right "Cocain is a hell of a drug. "
As we can see with Mr. Sheen, crack is so powerful that he chose it over "Two and a Half Men" a 2 million dollar a week job! WOW! So what are your thoughts? Personally my first thought when I first heard the story was "Who cares about another white actor on drugs?! He'll have a new job next week!" Seriously this isn't news, that fool has been coked up for awhile.
We all should already know from Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Robert Downey Jr., Johnny Depp, Kate Moss and so many more that he will be back on top and soon. That is if he doesn't overdose. But on the flip side if he were black, it would be a different story. Don't you remember the down fall of Dave Chapelle? He only went to Africa! I mean yeah he probably was faded but then again aren't they all?
Here's the question on my mind and I'm sure on the minds of many; why is it that Charlie Sheen even while strung out on drugs will have a new job next week? Why is this behavior okay?
We don't have the answer and were hoping that maybe one of you, our readers, could explain.
