History

The Japanese tattoo has been around for centuries. It is believed that the facial tattoos of faces graced the first Japanese settlers. Over the years, art has evolved and is used to get a tattoo with very detailed pictures. For example, Utagawa Kuniyoshi in 1827 created six very complex models as part of 108 of the heroes of Suikoden. These heroes are like a band of Robin Hood. Every tattoo tells a piece of history.
