"Teena Marie" Mary Christine Brockert Has Died At Age 54


The woman who back in the day shocked the world with her ivory skin yet colorful and soulful voice; before the Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Jon B.'s We were all entertained and enjoyed as she called her self in the R & B hit "Square Biz" 'Vanilla Child." She has shocked us yet again with her untimely death. At age 54 Marie passed away this past weekend after suffering from a Gran Mal Seizure last month. Her daughter Alia Rose reported finding her mother and confirmed that the singer stopped taking her medication for the seizures due to it's depressing side effects. The lack of medication is said to be the cause of death but is yet to be confirmed, the autopsy which will be performed this week will give the cause of death by the coroner. Thus far officials have released a statement that natural causes are the source of death.
