Tonight's Play

This was supposed to the showcase game for the WACFresno State and Boise State battling for a BCS spot. The WAC was going to showcase its two premiere teams on prime time, hoping for a little respect from voters and pundits. Only Boise State lived up to the bargain. The Bulldogs have been massively disappointing this year, winning only one game. Things have gotten so bad in Fresno that coach Pat Hill has started to regret not taking the head coaching job with the Oakland Raiders.

Alright, not that bad, but close.

The line has moved above 25 in some places as bettors are now starting to realize the value of BSU and have pushed that line up. But you know, that is pretty scary. Fresno ended Boise's 31-game WAC winning streak last year behind senior Paul Pinegar. The Bulldogs also looked impressive against Oregon and Washington earlier this year, before the season slipped away. So it would probably be wise to side with the Bulldogs in this one, as this will be a lot closer than most anticipate.
