Celeb's do it and do it well on the Purple Carpet of The Soul Train Music Awards

Last night all the stars were out in Atlanta Georgia for the Purple Carpeted Soul Train Music Awards, which will air November 28 on Centric. The evenings host will be Taraji P. Henson and Terrance Howard. All the pictures holding all the who's who and evenings fashion are below:

Melanie Fiona and Goapele were in attendance and these two are beauties. The buttercream dress on Fiona accentuates her curves and was a coupled well with her side swept hair. The make-up on them both looked dewey and natural. Goapele who is more on the centric side looked fab in the floral print heart shaped strapless dress.

Tank and Free, what a gorgeous man I think Tank will look good in any and everything. Blue is a color that brings out
his skin tone and the v-neck was classy. Ms. Free looked like her adorable self as usual and happy that
Tank was hugging on her as I too would be.

Keshia Knight Pullman, what a bombshell! First and for most the shoes are the business, second is her hair and makeup
she already has the most gorgeous shade of brown skin naturally and the make-up just plays it up. I thought this was a good fit she is a small little firecracker and it elongated her legs a bit. The green leopard  yes!

Janelle Monae, showing off her signature style that we all respect and love. The afro puff bang will be a request soon by all the natural hair wearers. The suit is clean feminine and classy I love this look, I think it's perfect for a formal scene.

Ginuwine and Sole, this is the second evening in a row that he has shown out I have to refer to him by his God given name again. Eligin looked handsome and very mannish in this number and his wife Sole requires your eyes attention as well she is simply fabulous. Those shoes she is wearing are a yes.

One of the nights Honorees Mr. Freddie Jackson looked sheik, cream and black will go together till forever and a day.

R & B Singer Dondria was rocking and show stopping in this one. The dress screams I'm too sexy for this award show, I think this may be my pick of the night. It is purposely sexy but cut to still be formal. I love her so called playful Bob with the china bang the color is popping.

Singer Ray Lavender was definitely in the house and very handsome might I add. To see a good looking well dressed man is always a plus. The red yes.

Dwele urbanely sophisticated he got me creating words. I really like this look the jeans and the sport coat, it's grown man.

I will only speak on the shoes those are very fine, fine pieces of leather I just love the color. I could care less about the rest. What a shoe!

Chrisette Michelle was not playing with this fashion choice last night, she has single handedly change the entire look of a turban on a woman as we saw last week in her latest video "I'm A Star ". The belt is my favorite because it is so risky to add to this ensemble.

Your host Taraji P. Henson and Terrance Howard with one of the nights performers Faith Evans and El Debarge, They look good don't they?
Biz Markie cleaned up well for the evening and even wore a button down. Oh baby youuuuuu youuuuu got what I neeeed but u say he's just a friend you say he's just a friend. I couldn't help that it's embedded in my memory.
SWV Looked hot, all black everything you just can never go wrong with that fashion choice. The hair in this picture is flawless, I love the color and style choices on each lady.
Taraji P. Henson and Terrance Jackson posed together for the press they are the evenings host and looked beautiful together. The accent on Taraji's dress is fab Terrance is always on point.

Ms. Faith Evans the reason we all wanted and still want to be a red head, look too good. I just love buttercream it brings out the beauty in all skin tones. Her hair what needs to be said other than hot.

Jazmine Sullivan graced the Purple Carpet with her sequence full length dress accompanied by a nice classic women blazer. This look rocked, I like the lack of accessories and the simplicity of the hair and make-up it really brought out the dress.

Our second Honoree Ms. Anita Baker still rocking the short hair, I remember when she was one of the few. The trend was set and definitely kept by her.
Kita and Mo I only added this picture for a look at those yellow shoes Kita has on they are THE ONE!
Chili you beauty.

Singer Bilal, I enjoyed his Purple Carpet look. The hat and scarf really brought the entire look together.

Rick Ross and DJ Khaled well they we themselves and I can appreciate that.

Steve harvey and his Wife. She is the true beauty of the two and her entire look was flawless even down to the lace shoes.

D Woods of Danity Kane I'll let you critique her what are your thoughts?
