"Pink Friday" Madness with Nicki Minaj Live on MTV Special "My Time Now"

We have all sat back maybe not with the same feelings toward Minaj's music but we can all agree that we are all fans of her work ethic and execution. "PINK Friday" has been one of the years best moments in music period not just Hip Hop, Minaj single handedly managed to be on just about everyone's album that's dropped besides her own from her Young Money mate Drake to Rhianna, Kanye West and I'm sure those are just to name a few. Magazine covers from Billboard, Vibe and many more have become a photo album for Nicki, she's also got a lipstick in her honor from MAC that sold out in a matter of moments along with a special from the network giant MTV.  Just in case you missed the special here's what MTV had to say about the special that aired tonight along with a snippet of the footage:

MTV was granted exclusive access to Minaj and chronicles her professional and personal life. Over the course of the hour-long documentary, fans are given unprecedented access to Minaj as she travels back to her native Trinidad, visits her family in Queens where she buys her mother a home, preps for her first VMA performance, and in the studio where she painstakingly works to put the final touches on her debut album. The documentary also features exclusive interviews with Minaj where she opens up about her past, working with the world's biggest artists, as well as the pleasures and perils of fame.

Minaj's debut album, Pink Friday, will be released through Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Universal Motown on November 22 and features the hit singles "Your Love," "Check It Out," and "Right Thru Me." In October 2010, Minaj became the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously.
