The Blackanese Calendar: "Year Of The Hoe," or for all pun intended The Chi-Negro-Nese Calandar: "Da' Year Of De' Whore"

According to Chinese Astrology a person's destiny can be determined by the position of the major planets at that exact time he/she is born; it also includes things like the position of the Sun, Moon and comets. The most popular and referred to is the "Animal" sign which is described as an assignment by year which represents what others perceive you as being or how you present yourself. Animals like the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit and so on and so forth. However, the Chinese missed one we need to add yet another to the list 'HOE.' The Year Of The 'HOE' appears to be extremely dominant in present day running for often time consecutive years with no sign of transitioning into the other animals. You may be wondering and asking when did we begin, add, approve and celebrate without notification to the Chinese? That's easy let's have a look back...

2003 Year Of The Hoe Paris Hilton:
Paris Hilton Who is an American socialite, heiress, media personality, model, singer, author, fashion designer and actress. She is a great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton (founder of Hilton Hotels). Hilton is known for her controversial appearance in a sex tape in 2003, and appearance on the television series The Simple Life alongside fellow socialite and childhood best friend Nicole Richie. She is also known for her 2004 tongue-in-cheek autobiography, several minor film roles (most notably her role in the horror film House of Wax in 2005), her 2006 music album Paris, and her work in modeling. As a result of several legal incidents, Hilton also served a widely publicized sentence in a Los Angeles County jail in 2007. She is an example of the modern phenomenon of the 'celebutante', the celebrity who rises to fame not because of their talent or work but because of their wealth and controversial lifestyle.

2005 Year Of The Hoe Karrine Steffans: 
Karrine Steffans' books, Confessions of a Video Vixen (2005),The Vixen Diaries (2007),and The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce & Keep the Man You Want (2009), have all made The New York Times Best Seller list. Upon publishing Confessions of a Video Vixen with HarperCollins Publishers, Steffans departed on a promotional tour and has been interviewed by journalists such as Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo Rivera, Donny Deutsch, and others. Entering The New York Times Best Seller list at number seven and peaking at number five, Confessionsstayed on the list for over twenty weeks in hardcover and spent several more weeks on the list a year and a half later in paperback. In May 2006, Steffans appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in a segment titled "Smart Women on Stupid Girls." The press release about her appearance said she "was 21 years old when she made her video debut. She danced in videos alongside some of the biggest artists in the industry, including Jay-Z, R. Kelly and LL Cool J. She quickly became a full time booty-shaking, breast-baring dancer� but success came at a price."

2007 Year Of The Hoe Kim Kardashian: 
Kim Kardashian is an American celebutante, socialite, television personality, producer, actress, and model. She also is the daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian. She is widely known for a sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J and her E! reality series which she shares with her family, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Since then, Kim has launched multiple fragrances, guest starred on numerous shows and competed on ABC'sDancing with the Stars. She also has had roles in movies such as, Disaster Movie, and Deep in the Valley. Kim's recent projects include launching another perfume line and working as the producer of an E! reality series, The Spin Crowd. Kim also is involved in multiple projects with her sisters, Kourtney and Khlo� including writing an autobiography entitled "Kardashian Konfidential" and launching their own fashion line. 

2008 Year of The Hoe Amber Rose:
Amber Rose has been featured in numerous magazines, including Smooth, Gotham, Vibe, Planting Seeds, In Tandem, Elle, and Complex, and has also been interviewed on Sirius Radio's "Shade 45's Lip Service". She also worked at Sue's Rendezvouz, a strip club in Mt. Vernon, NY as a dancer where she later met Kanye West. In 2009, Rose posed for a Louis Vuitton print advertisement featuring Lamon Coleman's new line of sneakers. On July 11, 2009 it was announced that Rose had signed with Ford Models. In September 2009, Rose announced plans to launch her own line of eyewear. She walked the runway at New York Fashion Week for "Celestino", and she was unveiled as the new face of "Boadicea the Victorious" perfume. Rose has also made cameos in music videos such as Ludacris' "What Them Girls Like", Young Jeezy's "Vacation", Mary Mary's "God in Me", and Nicki Minaj's "Massive Attack". In 2010 she appeared in Russel Simmon's reality show about his two assistants, Running Russel Simmons. Where she had a minor diva moment. 

2010 Year Of The Hoe Maliah Michele: 
It's a bit to early to have a Hio(Hoe Bio) on Maliah Michele is best known for being Drake's girlfriend for a short period of time and since then her career has taken off she has an official web cite with a team working for her to set up appearances, photo shoots and any other job but strippin'.

You may argue that these are just coincidences but the facts don't lie, each of these ladies can be googled with just the first 3 letters of their first name, none of them have a traditional trade or any kind of higher education I'm aware of that took place in a class room actually doing school work. What do they do to be famous? Sing, Act, Rap, Modeling in the sense of Tyra's "Top Model." Hell no! So why is it the hoe gets all the fame, money, TV show deals, books and so many other perks while the chicks who live pretty decent lives who are highly educated and motivated by something other than their "Hit List" can't get ahead? Many men will say it's hatin but aren't they the same ones complaining about they baby momma being a hoe or side chick being a hoe, I guess it's only hatin if it's someone they haven't had the pleasure of sampling and adding pumps to their Dick-tionary.
