My Work....

Alex has been one of my clients for a little over a year, when she first came to me the concern was split ends and stunted hair growth. As you can see she has a beautiful head of naturally jet black hair that I was more than happy to work with. After a few drastic trims we've reached a point of simply maintenance. I treated her hair with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo because she hasn't seen me in about 2 moths while wearing braids. So I first wanted to deeply clean and stimulate the scalp, Tea Tree shampoo is excellent for that. Next, I used Redken All Soft and Smooth Down shampoo mixed together to soften the hair to prompt detanginling. I followed with Joico Kpac Recontructer and my "Magic Potion," Halo High Gloss Clear Rinse. She was under the dryer for about 45 min. This is one of the key steps in Growing a healthy head of hair moisture has to be the number one priority. For the blow dry I used It's a 10 leave in and followed with the Aveda Brilliant shine drops before flat ironing.

Tracy was lost in translation for over a year, we somehow lost contact but because I have worked in Carson for several years I was very easy for her to fine. She found me tuesday and was in my chair wednesday. She waisted no time in booking an appointment with me especially after attempting to color treat her own hair and having an accident or two. As you know I never encourage color or any chemical service to be done unprofessionally at home, for several reasons but the most important is the quality of the hair there after. Fortunately for Tracy the coloring was only done once by her and once she saw the outcome she left her hair alone. I gave a her a traditional deep conditioning under the dryer for about 45 min.

The products I used from start to finish were; Redken Real Control shampoo and conditioner, It's a 10 leave in conditioner and Aveda Brilliant shine drops. Were going to be slowly changing the color of Tracy's hair by adding highlights each time she comes in. So, I'll be posting pictures throughout the process.

Ebony allowed me for the first time to treat Her hair this past Saturday after watching another client of mine, who is a good friend of hers, hair become a long and healthy head of hair. For her service I wanted to give her a look she could maintain but also something different from what she had previously been wearing. Our number one priority, however, is getting to a long healthy head of hair so conditioning was as usual a deep penetrating conditioner followed by It's a 10 leave in and Schwarzscof Q10 leave in. I played around with a hint of blonde to add some pop, her hair is on it's way to becoming a head of andreikirilenkotattooed hair!
